The Biggest Sale at Every Cruise Line
Princess, Holland America, Norwegian and more — their headline events, side by side.
Price the Big Sale for My CruiseRoyal Caribbean, Celebrity and Carnival get the most searches, but the biggest cruise sales of the year run across the whole industry. Here is what other major lines were publishing when we checked their official deals pages in October 2026, and how to read each one. We name only events a line itself shows; anything else we describe in general terms.
Line by Line
Princess Cruises
Princess publishes a dedicated Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals page. When we checked, it promised strong savings but did not describe the event as its biggest. Princess also runs rotating seasonal sales and last-minute deals.
Holland America Line
Its deals page in October 2026 featured a Save on Sunshine Sale for Caribbean, Mexico and other warm-weather sailings, alongside other offers. Holland America groups many sailings by region, so check that your itinerary is included.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian’s best-known offer is its long-running Free at Sea package of included extras, which it reinstated for new bookings in November 2025. Seasonal fare sales are layered on top of that package.
MSC, Virgin Voyages, Disney and luxury lines
Each runs its own promotions on its own schedule. Luxury and expedition lines tend to favor value-adds such as air credits or included excursions over headline fare sales.
How the Big Events Differ by Line Style
| Line style | What a big sale tends to emphasize |
|---|---|
| Large contemporary lines | Fare cuts, extra-guest offers, reduced deposits, short countdown events |
| Premium lines | Second-guest offers, added packages, air savings on longer voyages |
| Luxury lines | Value-adds and air credits rather than headline fare reductions |
| Expedition lines | Early-booking offers on the following season’s voyages |

Comparing Biggest Sales Across Lines
If you are open to more than one line, the biggest sales can be compared fairly with a little discipline:
- Match the length, region and season of the sailings you are comparing.
- Compare comparable cabin types — one line’s balcony is not always another’s.
- Add taxes, fees and gratuities to every price before comparing.
- List what each fare includes, such as drinks, Wi-Fi or specialty dining, and value only what you would use.
- Note deposit and cancellation terms side by side.

Past Guests Often Hear First
Almost every major line runs a loyalty program, and the members of those programs are frequently the first to learn about a headline event. Some lines open a sale to past guests a day or two before the public, add a member-only extra on top, or send targeted offers on ships a member has sailed before. If you have cruised with a line even once, make sure your past-guest number is attached to any new quote; it can change which offer applies and occasionally the price itself.
Advisor Extras on Top of the Line’s Event
A line’s biggest sale sets the fare, but the agency you book through can sometimes add its own amenities, such as onboard credit or a prepaid gratuity, funded from its side of the booking. Those extras do not show up on the line’s sale page, so two bookings in the same sale can end up with different value. Our cruise advisors at Mister Cruise tell you exactly what we can add before you decide.
