The Biggest Cruise Sales of the Year
Which cruise sale is really the biggest — checked line by line, with no hype and no made-up prices.
Price the Big Sale for My CruiseThe Biggest Cruise Sales of the Year, Explained Line by Line
Every few weeks a cruise line announces that its newest offer is the biggest of the year. Some of those claims mark genuinely strong promotions; others are routine pricing wearing a louder headline. Largest Cruise Sale sorts the two apart. We look at the biggest cruise sales of the year one line at a time, name only the events a line itself publishes, and show you how to check whether a headline sale actually lowers the price of the cabin you want.
You will not find fares or percentages on this site. They change daily, and a number copied onto a guide page is out of date almost as soon as it is published. Instead you will find the patterns: which lines put their weight behind which events, roughly when they land, and what to compare before you book. When you want a real price, our cruise advisors at Mister Cruise quote the sailing for you.

Why Every Line Claims the Biggest Sale
Cruise lines price their cabins continuously, raising and lowering fares sailing by sailing as bookings come in. On top of that steady movement they stage a handful of marketing events each year, and each one is given a name, a countdown clock and, often, a superlative. “Biggest” in that context usually describes the scale of the campaign — how many ships and dates are included and how heavily it is advertised — rather than a promise that prices are at their lowest.
That does not make the claims empty. A line’s flagship event often does combine several benefits at once, and it may cover sailings two years out. It simply means the word “biggest” is where your research starts, not where it ends.

The Line-by-Line Picture
| Cruise line | What it publishes as its big event (checked October 2026) | Our guide |
|---|---|---|
| Royal Caribbean | Its Black Friday page states that the line’s biggest sale of the year is live, running through Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday | Royal Caribbean |
| Celebrity Cruises | Its deals page features a Fall Sale and extra-guest offers; trade press has called past Black Friday events its largest | Celebrity |
| Carnival Cruise Line | A steady rotation of short sales and Early Saver fares rather than one branded annual blockbuster | Carnival |
| Princess, Holland America, Norwegian | Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals pages, seasonal sales and long-running bundles | Other lines |
We recheck these pages as events change. If a line renames or drops an event, the guide changes with it.
How to Use the Biggest Sales Without Overpaying
- Get a baseline quote now. A saved price for your ship, date and cabin category is the only honest yardstick when the big sale arrives.
- Know your must-haves. If you need a specific holiday week or a scarce cabin type, waiting for an event can cost you the cabin itself.
- Read what changed. A big sale may lower the fare, add perks, cut the deposit, or all three. Count only the parts you would use.
- Ask about re-pricing. If you already hold a booking, ask before final payment whether the new event can be applied to it.
For the different kinds of offer you will meet inside a sale, see CruiseSales.us; for a month-by-month booking calendar, see Cruise Price Busters. Live offers you can book today are gathered on Cruising for Less and, early in the year, on WaveSeason.com.

Biggest Cruise Sale Questions
What are the biggest cruise sales of the year?
For most large lines the two heaviest promotional stretches are the Black Friday to Cyber Monday week in late November and the January-to-March booking push the industry calls Wave Season. Individual lines add their own headline events, such as fall sales or anniversary sales.
Does “biggest sale of the year” mean lowest price of the year?
Not necessarily. It usually means the line is putting the most sailings and the most marketing behind one offer. Your particular cabin may have been priced lower at another moment, so compare against a quote you saved earlier.
Can you tell me when my sailing is in a big sale?
Yes. Tell our cruise advisors at Mister Cruise which ship, date and cabin type you want, and we will price it before and during each major event.
